Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should satisfy the eligibility conditions of qualification, experience and age as prescribed in the notification. Eligibility as at 1 June 2026.

Educational Qualification

The qualification requirements depend on the post:

Officer Scale II (MMGS-II): Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute with full-time MBA/PGDM (Finance)/PGDBM or CA, CMA (ICWA) or CFA (equivalent professional qualification) from a recognised University/Institute. The qualification should be accompanied by the required post qualification experience in banking or financial institutions.

Officer Scale III (MMGS-III): Candidates should have the same qualification as for Scale II, and should have relevant professional experience in credit appraisal, lending or banking operations.

Officer Scale IV (SMGS-IV) : Candidates should have Graduate degree and the requisite professional qualification like MBA/PGDM (Finance), CA, CMA (ICWA), CFA or any equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution, with rich experience in the field of credit management and banking.

Educational Qualifications: All educational qualifications should be from a recognised University/Institution approved by the Government of India/concerned regulatory authority. Candidates should make sure that they meet the educational qualification and experience criteria for the respective scale before applying online.

Age Limit

The prescribed age limits are:

  • Officer Scale II: 25 to 32 years

  • Officer Scale III: 28 to 38 years
