Negative Marking

AIIMS CRE 5 CBT has a negative marking scheme. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and will be penalised 1 mark for each incorrect answer. There is no marking or de-marking for unattempted questions and the candidate is advised to attempt only those questions they are sure of to maximise their aggregate score.

AIIMS CRE 5 Skill Test

Certain posts require a Skill Test after qualifying the CBT.

The Skill Test is qualifying in nature and is conducted only for posts where it is prescribed under the Recruitment Rules.

Selection Process

The AIIMS CRE 5 Recruitment 2026 Selection Process includes the following stages:

Stage 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Stage 2 – Skill Test (If Applicable)

Candidates applying for posts requiring practical skills shall have to qualify the prescribed Skill Test.

Merit List Preparation

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test primarily.

In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks, the tie will be broken in the following manner:

2. Fewer wrong answers (less penalty).

3. Older candidate (based on date of birth)

4. Name of the candidate in alphabetical order followed by the father’s name and mother’s name if required.

After declaration of result of CBT, the eligible candidates will be asked to fill their choice and preference of participating institutes. The posting pattern will depend upon:
